This screen is specifically designed to generate comprehensive Assembly Reports using advanced filters. It enables users to generate reports with accuracy based on selected criteria.


1.1 Search for Assembly Reports​

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Assembly Report Section​

  1. Navigate to the main menu and click on Production and Quality.
  2. Go to Reports and select Assembly Report.

Step 2: Understanding the Search Fields​

The Assembly Report screen allows users to apply detailed filters. Below is a description of each field:

  • Select Customer (Single-select dropdown): Choose the customer for whom the report is generated.
  • Select Plant (Single-select dropdown): Filter the report based on the manufacturing plant.
  • Select Reviewed-by (Single-select dropdown): Filter by the reviewer responsible for verifying the assembly.
  • Select Part (Single-select dropdown): Choose a part number.
    Example: BUSHINGS, WELL SERVICE PUMP, 12.250 DIA, W/MILLED
  • Control Plan (Single-select dropdown): Select a control plan applied during assembly.
  • Control Process (Single-select dropdown): Choose the control process related to the selected part.
  • Select The Date (Date picker): Set the report date. Defaults to today's date (e.g., 2025-06-19).

Step 3: Understanding Field Validations​

  • All mandatory fields must be filled to generate the report.
  • The date field will default to the current system date.
  • The system will prompt an alert if required fields are empty.
  • All dropdowns are preset to ensure proper filtering and minimize user error.

Step 4: Start Generating the Report​

  • After selecting the filters, click the Generate button.
  • Click the Clear button to reset all fields to their default values.

Example Scenario​

If a user selects:

  • Customer: XYZ Corp
  • Plant: Unit 1
  • Reviewed By: John Doe
  • Part: BUSHINGS, WELL SERVICE PUMP, 12.250 DIA, W/MILLED
  • Control Plan: CP-1001
  • Control Process: Heat Treatment
  • Date: 2025-06-19

And if no data matches these criteria...


Step 5: No Data Found Warning​

If no records match the selected filters, the following warning will be displayed:

🟧 No Data Found On This Time
⚠️ Warning!

This means no report data exists for the selected filters.

Recommended Actions:

  • Double-check the selected dropdown values
  • Try a different date
  • Ensure assembly activities were recorded for the selected criteria

Step 6: Mandatory Fields Summary​

To successfully generate the report, the following fields are required:

  • Select Customer
  • Select Plant
  • Select Reviewed-by
  • Select Part
  • Control Plan
  • Control Process
  • Select The Date

All these fields must be filled to proceed.
